Conservation is not a choice. It is an imperative. Conservation of nature is not a drag on development. Both can happen in a mutually complementary manner.

Protecting big cats is far more than a wildlife agenda — it is central to climate mitigation, climate adaptation, ecosystem health, and long-term human well-being.

A first of its kind global gathering

Big Cats—Tiger, Lion, Leopard, Snow Leopard, Cheetah, Jaguar and Puma—are apex predators and magnificent species that maintain ecological balance across some of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystem. These species historically found across 95 range countries spanning Asia, Africa and the Americas.

India will host the IBCA Summit, 2026 on June 1, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi followed by Technical Sessions on June 1-2, 2026 at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi, under the aegis of Government of India and the International Big Cat Alliance . The Summit represents a historic and first-of-its-kind global gathering dedicated exclusively to address the conservation challenges being faced by the Big Cats across the continents.
